Connect Instagram

Who it is for: whoever manages the account

Handle Instagram direct messages (DMs) from the same Inbox.

Prerequisite

You need an Instagram Business account (not a personal one).

How to connect

There are two ways:

Through a Facebook page: if you already connected the page linked to your Instagram, you can enable it from there.
Direct (Instagram Business Login): from Settings, tap Connect Instagram and sign in, authorizing access to your direct messages.

Once connected, you see the Instagram username (@youraccount) and its avatar, and DMs start arriving in the Inbox.

ℹ️

Note:Per Meta policy, you can only reply to users who wrote to you or interacted with your account. You cannot start a cold conversation. To reply to a story, send a DM.

AI agents on Instagram

An AI agent can handle Instagram just like WhatsApp. You set it up by assigning the agent to the channel.
