What it's for
Video rooms let you have a video call with a contact for personalized service (visual support, demos, advice), without the contact having to install anything: they join through a link in the browser.
How it works

Step:From a conversation, create a video room.
➡️
Step:TalkAI generates a unique link for the room; share it with the contact, for example in the same WhatsApp chat.
➡️
Step:The contact opens the link, enters their name, allows camera and microphone, and joins.
ℹ️
Note:The room link is valid for about 1 hour from its creation and doesn't require the contact to have a TalkAI account.
Features during the call
- Mute / unmute the microphone.
- Turn the camera on / off.
- Choose the device for microphone and camera.
- Share screen (on the agent's side).
- Hang up to end.
Requirements
- A browser with access to camera and microphone (and permission granted).
- A secure connection (HTTPS).
⚠️
Warning:The video call goes directly between the two browsers (peer to peer). On corporate or heavily restricted networks it may fail to connect. If that happens, try from another network, for example with mobile data.
Common mistakes
- The contact can't get in: the link may have expired (it lasts about 1 hour); create a new room.
- They join but there's no picture: check camera and microphone permissions, and try from another network.
